Under its Skill Development initiative, Bodugu International Fundation conducted a comprehensive Youth Skill Development Training in Digital Tools, aimed at equipping rural youth with essential digital competencies. The training focused on computer literacy, basic coding practices, and digital communication skills, empowering participants to navigate today’s technology-driven environment with confidence.

The sessions were designed to enhance employ ability and job readiness, with trainers emphasising practical applications such as using productivity software, writing emails, preparing resumes, and understanding workplace digital tools. Hands-on modules in basic programming and internet usage introduced participants to career opportunities in the digital sector. Special emphasis was placed on bridging the rural-urban digital divide, ensuring that youth from underprivileged backgrounds gain access to skills that can improve their livelihood prospects.

Beyond technical knowledge, participants were also trained in soft skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and digital etiquette, which are essential for modern workplaces. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from nearly 200 students, who not only developed their digital skills but also expressed greater confidence in pursuing higher studies, self-employment, and entry-level job opportunities in the IT-enabled services sector. The initiative marked an important step in creating a digitally empowered rural youth community, ready to contribute to the broader vision of inclusive growth and sustainable development.
