“Clean Drinking Water — A Right, Not a Privilege"

Our village, home to nearly 1,500–2,000 people, has no permanent source of safe drinking water.
The community depends entirely on rainwater and the Telugu Ganga canal, which often runs dry during summer months. When rainfall is delayed, the situation becomes critical — families walk long distances searching for clean water.

The existing wells, handpumps, and borewells in the area now provide highly contaminated water, unsafe for human consumption. Due to this, villagers — especially children, women, and elderly people — frequently suffer from waterborne diseases such as typhoid, diarrhea, skin infections, and kidney-related illnesses.

To address this urgent crisis, BODUGU (I) FOUNDATION has initiated a Clean Drinking Water (RO) Plant Project in the village.
Our goal is to ensure that every person in the community receives safe, purified drinking water daily, free from chemicals and contamination.

This project will not only protect public health but also reduce medical expenses and improve the overall well-being of rural families.

“శుద్ధమైన తాగునీరు — ప్రతి మనిషి హక్కు"

మా గ్రామంలో సుమారు 1,500–2,000 మంది ప్రజలు నివసిస్తున్నారు. ఈరోజు వరకు గ్రామంలో శుద్ధమైన తాగునీటి శాశ్వత వనరు లేదు. ప్రజలు పూర్తిగా వర్షపు నీరు మరియు తెలుగు గంగ కాలువపై ఆధారపడి జీవిస్తున్నారు.

వేసవి కాలంలో కాలువ ఎండిపోవడం, వర్షాలు ఆలస్యంగా రావడం వల్ల గ్రామ ప్రజలు తాగునీటి కొరతతో తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారు. గ్రామంలోని బావులు, హ్యాండ్‌పంపులు చాలా చోట్ల కలుషితమైన నీటిని ఇస్తున్నాయి.

ఈ కలుషిత నీటివల్ల పిల్లలు, మహిళలు, వృద్ధులు తరచుగా జలుబు, వాంతులు, చర్మ వ్యాధులు, మూత్రపిండాల సమస్యలు వంటి అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్నారు.

ఈ సమస్యను శాశ్వతంగా పరిష్కరించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో BODUGU (I) FOUNDATION ఒక గ్రామీణ తాగునీటి (RO) ప్లాంట్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రారంభిస్తోంది. ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి ప్రతిరోజూ శుద్ధమైన, రసాయన రహిత నీరు అందించడం మా ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం.

ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ గ్రామ ప్రజల ఆరోగ్యం మెరుగుపడటమే కాకుండా వైద్య ఖర్చులు తగ్గించి, మంచి జీవన ప్రమాణాలను కల్పిస్తుంది.

మీ ఒక్క విరాళం కూడా ఒక కుటుంబానికి జీవదానం అవుతుంది. ఒక కుటుంబానికి ఒక నెల పాటు తాగునీరు అందించడానికి కేవలం ₹1,000 విరాళం సరిపోతుంది.
